Dr. Kimberly O'Neal, DVM
Dr. Kimberly O’Neal grew up in the Chicago suburbs. She is the daughter of a veterinarian and loved lending a hand in her parents’ small animal general practice. Dr. O’Neal was a scholarship athlete earning her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Florida Institute of Technology where she played volleyball and took on the leadership role of captain. After undergrad, she worked in the medical engineering field as a software test engineer where her work was quickly recognized, winning the Star Performer Award. However, her heart wasn’t in computer screens and data analysis, so she turned to her first love, veterinary medicine.
Combining her love of animals with her problem-solving, and analytical background, Dr. O’Neal received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine and Certificate in Veterinary Business Management from the University of Illinois. She is passionate about dentistry and preventative medicine and is also a Fear-Free certified veterinarian. In her free time, she loves gardening, traveling, scuba diving, and spending time with her husband and their dog, Nala.
