Frequently asked questions

Why might my pet need hospitalization?

Hospitalized care may be recommended when a pet’s illness requires treatment or monitoring that cannot be provided through an outpatient visit. The veterinarian will explain the plan for your pet’s condition.

How long will my pet stay in the hospital?

The length of a stay depends on your pet’s condition and response to care. The team will discuss treatment, progress updates, and discharge planning with you.

Does hospitalization mean the clinic is open 24 hours?

No. Boca Veterinary Clinic’s published hours are Monday–Friday 7:30am–7pm, Saturday 8am–6pm, and Sunday 9am–5pm. Ask the team about the monitoring arrangements for any proposed stay. Seek an open emergency facility for emergencies when we are closed.
